Richie’s extensive executive career has been largely dedicated to financial services in the Banking industry in the UK, US and Ireland where he was CEO of the Bank of Ireland Group from 2009 to 2017. Richie is currently Chairman of CRH plc and holds a number of other non-executive roles including, non Executive Director in Kennedy Wilson, Chairman of Clonbio and Chairman of the Investment Committee of Development Acquisition Finance. 

Richie graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a B.A. in Economics in 1980 and he has been a Member of the Provost’s Council of Trinity since 2018.
